Mac mini: Intel kündigt Bugfix für Displayflackern via HDMI an

Im vergangenen Monat hat Apple neben dem iMac 2012 und dem 13″ MacBook Pro mit Retina Display auch den neuen Mac mini 2012 präsentiert. Im Apple Support Forum tauchten schnell Berichte auf, bei denen von einem Displayflackern die Rede war, wenn externe Bildschirme via HDMI angeschlossen sind. Verbindungen via Thunderbolt oder Mini DisplayPort sind nicht betroffen.

We are aware of the flickering issue, and there will be a fix provided in the future.  The overall flicker issue is also being addressed here; http://communities.intel.com/thread/32932

Your OEM (Apple) will provide the driver with the fix when they are done configuring our driver (that has the fix).  An ETA on this is currently unknown.

Wie es scheint, hängt das Problem mit der verbauten Intel HD 4000 Grafikkarte zusammen. Intel hat bereits angekündigt, dass das Problem bekannt ist und dass eine Problemlösung in Arbeit ist. Wann ein Softwareupdate allerdings zur Verfügung gestellt wird, ist zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt unbekannt
