MacBook Pro 2015: Apple veröffentlicht Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0

Im Laufe dieses Jahres hat Apple sowohl das 13 Zoll Retina MacBook Pro als auch das 15 Zoll Retina MacBook Pro aktualisiert. Während Apple das 13 Zoll Modell im März dieses Jahres aktualisierte und diesem unter anderem neue Prozessoren, schnelleren SSD-Speicher und Force Touch spendierte, folgte das 15 Zoll MacBook Pro 2015 im Mai dieses Jahres, unter anderem mit schnelleren SSD-Flash-Speicher und Force Touch.

Apple veröffentlicht Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0

Rund um das MacBook Pro hat Apple vereinzelte Probleme mit dem SSD-Speicher festgestellt. Aus diesem Grund hat der Hersteller das sogenannte Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0 freigegeben. In der Updatebeschreibung hießt es

This update is recommended for MacBook Pro (mid 2015) models. This update addresses a storage firmware issue that, in rare cases, may cause data corruption.

Das Update wird für alle MacBook Pro (Mitte 2015) Modelle empfohlen. Das Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0 behebt ein Problem, welches in seltenen Fällen zu Problemen mit dem SSD-Speicher führte. Das Update steht auf betroffenen Macs direkt über den Mac App Store sowie über die Apple Support Seite zur Verfügung.
