Exklusiv bei Apple Music: Clive Davis Doku „The Soundtrack of Our Lives“

Clive Davis ist in der Musik-Welt sicherlich kein Unbekannter. Er gründete Arista Records, ist für über 300 Nr. 1 Titel verantwortlich und entdeckte zahlreiche Künstler. Nun hat sich Apple die exklusiven Rechte an der Clive Davis Doku „The Soundtrack of Our Lives“ gesichert.

Apple hat sich in den letzten Monaten bereits zahlreiche exklusive Inhalte für den Streaming-Dienst Apple Music gesichert. Am heutigen Tag kommt ein weiterer exklusiver Inhalt hinzu.

Der iPhone-Hersteller hat die Rechte an der Clive Richards Doku „The Soundtrack of Our Lives“ gekauft. Die Dokumentation hat in der Nacht zu heute ihre Premiere beim Tribeca Film Festival in der Radio City Music Hall in New York gefeiert.

Chris Perkel hat die Regie geführt. Dabei basiert die Doku auf der Clive Davis Autobiografie, die im Jahr 2013 veröffentlicht wurde. Davis war zwischen 1967 und 1975 der Chef von Columbia Records. Zudem gründete er Arista Records und war dort bis 2000 für die Geschicke des Unternehmens verantwortlich. Derzeit ist Davis CEO von J Records.

Während seiner langen Karriere hat der Musik-Experte viele Künstler entdeckt, darunter Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Santana, Aerosmith und Bruce Springsteen.
