Apple hat ein neues Reparaturprogramm für das iPad Smart Keyboard ins Leben gerufen. Genauer gesagt werden das Smart Keyboard für das 9,7 Zoll iPad Pro sowie für das 12,9 Zoll iPad Pro abgedeckt.

Apple hat festgestellt, dass es bei einigen wenigen Smart Keyboard Exemplaren zu Problemen kommen kann. So gibt es sporadische Probleme bei der Smart Connector Verbindung und zudem funktionieren manche Tasten nicht zuverlässig. Genau darüber hat Apple laut Macrumors vor wenigen Tagen seine Apple Stores und die Apple Authorized Service Providers informiert.

In dem Memo heißt es weiter, dass Apple alle qualifizierten Smart Keyboards kostenlos repariert. Das gilt für betroffene Smart Keyboards innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum.
