LG Mannheim: eMail Push-Verbot bleibt bestehen

Anfang Februar 2012 setzt Motorola vor dem LG Mannheim ein Urteil durch, das dazu führte, dass Apple seinen MobileMe- und iCloud-Kunden in Deutschland keine eMails mehr auf die iOS-Geräte pushen darf. Per Support-Dokument bestätigt Apple diesen Umstand und bietet eine Übergangslösung an, die vermutlich noch länger Bestand haben wird.

The ruling against Apple Inc. only relates to what the company does in the German market. I don’t expect Apple’s customers to be affected in any way that would go beyond the deactivation of push notifications that’s already in place. For Motorola it’s nevertheless useful to have this decision in place against Cupertino as well.

Das Landgericht Mannheim wies nun Apples Einspruch zurück und bestätigte die Entscheidung aus Februar. Darüberhinaus muss Apple eine Strafzahlung an Motorola entrichten. (via)

    Und immernoch betrifft das nicht alle. Kenne mehrere sowie mich bei denen das noch geht?! Und nein, ich meine nicht alle 15min Emails beim Server Überprüfen, sondern sofort gepusht.
