Ab sofort sind Build-to-Order Macs (BTO) für Kunden in Indien verfügbar. Dies war bis dato nicht der Fall und Nutzer konnten sich lediglich für die Standardkonfiguration bzw. eine begrenzte Anzahl vorkonfigurierter Modelle entscheiden.

Mit der Einführung der Build-to-Order Macs haben Nutzer in Indien nun die selbe Freiheit bei der Konfiguration, wie es Apple Kunden in vielen anderen Ländern haben. Die BTO-Option ermöglicht es Kunden sich eine Standardkonfiguration auszuwählen und diese dann individuell anzupassen.

Nutzer, die sich beispielsweise für ein 16 Zoll MacBook Pro interessieren, können beispielsweise den Prozessor, den Arbeitsspeicher, die Grafikkarte sowie den Speicherplatz anpassen. TechCrunch berichtet, dass autorisierte Apple Händler in Indien jetzt dieselbe Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten anbieten.

The Cupertino-giant has started to offer a full-range of the Mac portfolio with configure-to-order (CTO) or build-to-order (BTO) option in India, allowing customers in the country to request specific custom needs such as additional memory, storage, or a more powerful graphics card when they purchase a computer.

Customers in India, a key overseas market for American technology giants, have long requested this feature, which Apple offers in several regions. Prior to this,

Die Auslieferung von BTO-Modellen dauert je nach Konfiguration etwas länger als die Standardkonfiguration.
